Kyrillos, Beck Praise Monmouth’s Best in the Nation STEM Schools

Senators Joe Kyrillos and Jennifer Beck (both R-Monmouth) praised a pair of Monmouth County schools for achieving tops in the country in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM). U.S. News & World Report ranks the High Technology High School in Middletown and the Academy of Allied Health and Science in Neptune first and fourth in the nation, respectively, for educating students across those core subjects.

“It is a tremendous accolade that for the third consecutive year, High Technology High School is America’s best high school for these important subjects that prepare students for high-demand professions,” said Kyrillos, of Middletown.

“On behalf of leaders across the state, we are so proud of staff members and students for their hard work and dedication to academic excellence. We look forward to their continued success.”

“What a remarkable achievement for Allied Health and Science, climbing 131 spots to number four in the country,” said Beck, who represents Neptune. “Such outstanding improvement is truly commendable and inspiring. I could not be more proud of this model school and am hopeful that they will be competing with High Technology and other schools in the region for the top spot, for years to come.”
