Kyrillos Urges State Department and Ecuador to Bring Back August Reiger

On behalf of the family and local cousins of August Reiger, a 18-year-old missing in Ecuador, Senator Joe Kyrillos (R-Monmouth) urged today all New Jersey lawmakers to push the U.S. State Department and Government of Ecuador to find Reiger and return him home to Oklahoma City.

Reiger mysteriously disappeared while hiking with his family on Father’s Day in Ecuador. Senator Kyrillos made his push during today’s Senate session and introduced a Resolution urging the State Department and Government of Ecuador to continue to focus their attention and full efforts on Reiger’s case.

“I met with members of August Reiger’s family yesterday, and they ask us all to join in their fight to bring August home safely,” Kyrillos said. “I have faith my colleagues will join me in pushing the State Department and Government of Ecuador to continue focusing their full attention and efforts on finding this missing patriot.”
